We’re the two-person team running this dang thing. The smiling faces behind the cameras. The couple at your wedding who started as your videographers and showed up as your friends. The best of buds and each other’s happy place. Dog parents to a spirited Golden Retriever named Nola and residents of Louisville, KY. We’re here to grab coffee and pop confetti with you. We’re Happy Campers!
OUR STORY
Before we were happy campers, we were a couple of kids in Kentucky, making home videos with our parents’ Sony Camcorders featuring our families and friends. Growing up, we attended the same schools and ran in the same circles (Allison, here, to say - Tyler was my older brother’s best friend before he was mine!) - eventually falling wholeheartedly in love and planning our own wedding as college students!
Our Story
2013 was a life changing year for us - to say the absolute least! This was the year we got married and - after years of making films for the sheer joy of it - we officially started Happy Campers! From filming friends’ weddings while we were dating to filming weddings coast to coast as a married couple, we made it official in every way we could possibly dream of!
It’s crazy to think of all the time that’s passed since we started this adventure. We fall deeper in love with each other and our work every single day. How the heck did we get so lucky? Today, we are truly living our life’s dream as traveling filmmakers, partners in life and in creativity, and as Happy Campers through it all.
